Video text transcript:

Doris: Santa Fe, the environment of Santa Fe was beautiful when I was small. There were a lot of flowers, a lot of trees, a lot of animals, all kind is animals. Birds, butterflies, a lot, a lot, a lot, due to the richness of the soil. Before we had a lot of food for them, a lot of bees. Because the environment was rich for them, we had a lot of what the animal needs to live. But now, as we can see, it’s almost empty, there are no more trees, no more flowers, there is no more grass. Everything is, is with, plantations of corn or sometimes wheat. But it’s nothing else. If we compare to before, even we have the corn and the wheat, we still having flowers and trees where the animals can be there, but now, once they collect the corn and the wheat, everything is empty. So there is no food for the animals. Ah, so I think they emigrate, or maybe they die because they didn’t have food. And also that happened with the influence a lot with the soil. Before, was rich soil, we can see it. And everything that you plant grew. But now, you plant and the plant doesn’t grow. They need nutrients, they need minerals, they need a lot of things in order to grow the plants. But before you didn’t need anything.
